Best first car?

With a strong resale value.

Honda or Toyota based on your preference. Best value for your money and good resale value.

Amazon kjhgghh Aug 27, 2018

Totally agree on Toyota. Keeps the value very well and ages pretty well too. Very reliable and low maintenance (and low-cost maintenance). Unlike most American cars that after 5 years visiting the dealership would be in your monthly schedule, plus they lose their value very early.

Toyotas and Hondas are boring but relatively inexpensive to maintain and own and have decent resale. Do your research and don’t be pressured. Car sales is one of the most duplicitous and underhanded things the average person will have to deal with face to face. There are a lot of resources you can find on YouTube and some targeted Google searches will yield lots of valuable info.
