What do you use to stay at the top of your game? I’m an SDR now, hopefully will be an AE by next summer
That’s solid advice. And The Challenger Customer feels like it was written for today’s sales cycles! I was a sales engineer for years and am now an account executive. I love it. The MEDPICC methodology helped me a lot with the switch, as well as following the behaviors described above when I was a Presales Engineer. I also try to manage my energy so I don’t get exhausted by some of the negativity I encounter.
Use your AE'S today. Shadow calls. Get feedback on your passes and how you could qualify them better. Sit with your SE on demos. If you're a reader, read Challenger sale, Challenger customer, lookup sandler. Try not to get sucked into the "LinkedIn guru" who's constantly posting shit. Work on honing your sales craft on every call you're on.
Looks like solid advice, thanks. Been getting real tired of the linkedin gurus on my feed too
