High performers, how often do you have slack off days?
I’m good-looking (yes, really) and have no trouble meeting great successful men. But I’m a software engineer and want a fellow nerd who shares my tech interests and ambition. Note, I won’t settle for someone I’m not attracted to. I’m sick of dating apps (met a bunch of boyfriends quickly but not enough chemistry). What’s the best way to meet attractive engineers? I’m not going to pursue anyone at work because it’s just wrong and dumb to boot.
If you want the top tier of male engineers, look for previous startup founders who are now in leadership roles. Chances are they’ll be the VPs and CEOs of tomorrow.
Introduce me. But seriously, how to meet men like these?
Previous startup founder, now in a leadership role here. ☺ But also divorced, likely too old for you (late 30s) and in a relationship.
i guess you are it right place. I have some suggestions. PM me for details and we can talk about those options over coffee?
why are you asking for our opinion? nobody besides you knows who you might find attractive🙄️
Question is where and how to meet a certain kind of man, not what I might find attractive.
It seems OP's priority is profession/career, and then among that pool attractive ones, not the other way around
What kind of man are you looking for? You don’t mention what you are attracted too and what your interests/ambitions are.
I mention it above: good looking, ambitious, nerd, software eng. There’s more but that’s generally enough for the request 🙂
I would say most software engineers at high quality tech companies are ambitious and are somewhat nerdy. That just leaves finding a good looking one! And I’m not sure what your definition of good looking is🙂
What do you find attractive though? Cause depending on what that is, it can be a lot harder to find what you want.....
Bars and such around SLU.
1. I would go to meetups that are related to engineering or whatever interests you. 2. Join clubs in your company like public speaking, board games or again, whatever interests you. 3. Go to technical or other conferences. 4. The tip about previously founders is actually great. You will have to do your homework on how to approach this. The bottom line here is to try and broaden your circle of connections actively.
1. You think so? I haven’t been to meet ups in a while so I’m curious. 2. I don’t want to date from work. 3. Serious time commitment and I only see old guys at these. 4. I like this one a lot too.
Two engineers together is dangerous. Like a black hole of nerdiness: too dense no coolness can ever escape. Date a designer or a musician or a teacher or scientist or something. Balance out the relationship and expand your horizons and your interests: leave computer talk at work with your coworkers.
But then I’ll make more money than them. I’m not ready to be a sugar mommy!
Why do you want to date someone exactly like you?
Psqlnc, do want to interview us like fb or Google? How much yoe are you looking for 🤔.
LOL if you include a headshot and stats with your resume.
🍿
As expected, Blind doesn’t stop disappointing me. Keep it coming guys.
Exactly.
