I see so many folks bashing Blind and the people on this app about how hyper inflated their expectations are for Tc and how out of reality everyone is. Let me tell you this, I didn’t go to the best college and didn’t work in a very prestigious company starting out in my career. 2 years into my career I installed Blind. (Mind you, I was only making 75K per year at a manufacturing company and thought that it might take a decade for me to get anywhere close to 200K) As soon as I installed blind, I figured out how fricking underpaid I was for a mechanical engineer. I quickly started interviewing and kept trying. Lo and behold, I ended up in Apple last year making a whopping tc of 320K and my WLB is far far far better than working in manufacturing segment. It’s like I have hit a jackpot without putting much effort! So to you guys who are comfortable in your 9-5, please don’t settle for the pay you’re making. Don’t penny pinch on buying a Starbucks coffee every day, only to end up losing $200-300K per year. Respectfully, One of your fellow blinder 😄

which city are you at? And what role?
Nice work. I waited ten years and was no where near 200k. Those tc numbers don’t exist for a lot of traditional engineering roles
Thank you!
