You can change username. But if you give TeamBlind Support any of your current or past username, they can list down all your comments, posts, poll participation, community violations, purchases, history of account suspensions, flagged events, etc. But not your work email. Source: I asked TeamBlind Support some questions to understand how the app works. #TIL You can also ask TeamBlind Support how many users needed to flag any post or comment regardless of the good/ bad content. Hint: the single digit countable users can gang up to flag anything & ban any blind user. As unfair as it sounds, community moderation is a fancy word for mob justice. #PSA
TBH reddit sounds kinda appealing these days. May switch
Come.
I don’t think that word means what you think it means. As long as none of the things you listed can be linked to your real world identity, it’s anonymous. Several of those items you can see for yourself in your own account history.
"But not your work email" that seems pretty good anonymity. But I think it is not even that safe. If you delete the app and re login by re verifying the work email, it can get back to your account. Which means that given your email address, they can get back all your nasty posts, even if you left the company. A lot of blinders delete their comments sometimes after posting racist comments right before getting banned. But I think, blind don't really delete it permanently.
Hmmm, have you actually tested this? I always thought the app was created with the assumption that your employer (or former employer) could access your email, which is why there is no password reset feature.
Yes, I left the app, as it was taking so much of my time at one time. And it didn't seem to be good for mental health. Re joined because hiring seems to be picking up and wanted to see some interview tips.
But two users can have the same username at two different points in time. How do they differentiate between them ? There has to something unique about each user.
Email + password.
They don't store email
