I'll be joining Bloomberg in couple of weeks. Can Bloomberg folks share with me what are the types of pre-tax deductions you take advantage of? So far, I know of 1. 401k contributions 2. Commuter benefits of up to $280/paycheck 3. FSA which we lose if not used by the end of the year TC: $225k #bloomberg #bloombergbonus #bloombergsalary
Idk
Are folks in Princeton eligible for commuter benefits too?
Yes
I don't think BBG insurance allows employees to contribute to HSA. Or can they? For sure BBG doesn't make any employer contributions.
There is no HSA pre-tax at Bloomberg.
What are these commuter benefits? I only know of the pretax metro card
Is it like Bloomberg refill the commuter benefit card every month ? Or it’s more like no tax on expenses towards commute up to some limits ??

Bloomberg does not offer HSA. There is no “eligibility”.
