Hello Broadcom, could you please share the office locations from where the Broadcom engineers work in US? This would help me and other employees at VMware know if they force us to RTO, its an option or not. Thank you! MTS-3 160
Yeah but from all of these offices engineers work?
According to acquisition agreement, an employee cannot be moved more than 50-75 miles from current work location. So very doubtful Broadcom would call people to work in another state
Is everybody expected to move to PA if there are no engineering team at other remote locations
Middle west has Utah office
How active the office is in Illinois? I live in IN and that’s the closest one to my place.
Utah is not the mid west. You’re 1000 miles off
You will be working from office period
OP unless your business head VP/GM is going to make an exception for you on medical or humanitarian grounds, it’s highly unlikely you’ll be able to work from a remote location where your immediate team doesn’t have a substantial presence. Sounds old school? Welcome to broadcom!
Do you have engineering presence in IL?
Not that i know of, but i could be wrong
There's no way Broadcom has sufficient capacity for all of VMware's engineers. At least some VMware offices will be retained.
Share something? They're the only tech company I've ever seen that doesn't have their benefits on their website.
Because they have none worth the mention!
Someone posted Broadcom's 2023 medical benefit details in our Slack today
