What's the minimum TC do you think you need to buy a Tesla model S?? 2016 or better.

Just buy a new model 3.
Yup, upgrades galore and get the performance package
There is no minimal tc. It’s about how you spend it. Do the math on TCO and your savings rate. Also consider that you live once. Pick your priorities (saving vs treating yourself) and then don’t look back.
After FIRE
Savings, not TC.
TM3 is the way to go.
A $60k loan over 6 years is ~$850/month. It is not purely about TC but about your situation (family, lifestyle, existing debt, ...): can you afford this monthly reimbursement?
If you can’t afford to pay cash for the car, you can’t afford it.
That’s a strong stance. What if you would rather invest that cash and earn at 10-15% while paying a 3-4% Interest?
That sounds like being able to afford paying cash, but choosing not to. Whether leveraging a depreciating asset for high risk returns makes sense is left as an exercise for the reader.
Why? They’re horrible cars that put people’s lives at risk
Because gas cars are so safe lmao
What an awful rebuttal. This isn’t gas vs. electricity. Musk’s autopilot is shit and has introduced deaths into situations that wouldn’t have been deadly
