Can Amazon cancel your GC application if you switch jobs?
Will Amazon cancel your GC application after I-140 approval? What if your were in Devplan/Pip and left during that?

Big companies have no motive to cancel your GC application in general unless you piss them off.

It costs $1500-$2000 to cancel the approved I-140 petition. So unless you cause damage to the company, they will not cancel that.
You need i-485 pending for 180 days in order to resume original process started by Amazon. If you are PIPed out before that - contact immigration lawyer (personal) for your options. Amazon has no reasons to interfere with your immigration process, but they will no longer spend billable hours on it.
So it’s safe to move after I-485 has been pending for more than 180 days? Can anyone who has done it confirm pls? Looks like I need to extend my stay by ~2 months to hit 180 :-(.
Correction. 180 days after i 140 has been approved. For majority of H1B holders priority dates are not concurrent and i485 cannot be filed concurrently
