https://www.businessinsider.com/microsoft-4-day-work-week-boosts-productivity-2019-11 COME ON!!!!!
It's pretty similar to some European countries where they do 30hr work weeks. Proven that less equals more in all those experiments in terms of productivity.
No please I am already stressed out of not having enuf time to complete my work
Thats the right attitude.
What happened is, workers had 3-day stretches every “weekend” without “stand ups” and were able to do more work during that time. This is much better than 2-day stretches that workers are usually given.
How about off every other day?
I mean I WFH on Fridays so I kind of experience this already. Gives me to time to clean the apt and mentally relax more
This “experiment” is a crock of shit lol.
Yea such bullshit! We should be working 996 like Jack Ma says!
China is growing 8% just due to that. US is growing barely 2-3%. All productivity talk is useless. Simple math: 10*6 = 60 8*5 = 40 Now 4 days, 8*4 = 32 We will grow like 1% with this BS.
Americans won’t be happy until they don’t have to work at all!
Bootlicker post.
OK boomer
I know work at defense contractors is boring, but you get every other Friday off. Every Friday off is also possible. You don’t get all the RSUs, but your $/Hr is high.
Yo dawg, they work 80 hours in a 2-week period. Most days are 9 hours, with the On-Friday being 8 hours. Turns out, no RSU’s at the worst $/Hr in the industry created behemoths like the 737 MAX
That's called 9/80. Defense and Government implements those. You don't actually work less. Everything is just cramped in. With all that said I'd still do a 9/80 since I already work 10 hr days anyways
Jeff will never let that happen, OP. Now, here's a 🍌 Get back to work!
Are you really comparing Japanese work culture with US?!!
Why not? US professionals have an extreme workaholic culture
Probably you have not been to Japan, Microsoft
