I’m curious what your company’s policy on this is? I initially wanted to ask specifically for Amazon, but curious how companies in general treat these situations. FWIW, the last few companies I worked at allows both as long as you’re not directly working in the same department and/or your spouse becomes your direct report or vice versa.
Most companies I have seen including my current are okay with this as long as you're in different departments
Mostly just cannot be in a reporting chain. I.e. your spouse cannot be a manager over you...even a few levels up.
Short answer is yes.
Referring is fine. You should disclose the relationship and the value of your referral will be discounted a bit. You can’t be in someone’s reporting chain if you have a relationship (of any kind) but otherwise there are no restrictions.

Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
Seen spouses work at Amazon no big deal. I would recommend different teams as far away from each other as possible for your own sanity.
Including different lunch group!
Trying to imagine how awkward it would be to have your spouse in same team .😧
