Can you transfer from Salesforce to Tableau or in another way
I am considering an offer from Salesforce Bellevue. But I prefer to working at the location of Tableau office in Seattle as it’s closer to my home. So I’m wondering if there will be a chance to transfer to Tableau after joining for some time. Thanks for the help!
Why not just interview tableau
I can’t get interview from there unfortunately even though I’ve gotten interviews from most of the top or second tier ones. And I have gotten an offer from salesforce, would not that be a little bit wasting time?

Salesforce has an internal transfer system called Opportunity Open Market. I don’t think Tableau is integrated into it yet, but probably will be in time. You’d still have to go through the interview process, although internally is easier.
Not in the near future for OOM to Tableau
Random question is it possible to switch job roles during OOM? Or am I stuck where they mapped me.
Am looking to go the other way. Tired of the monolith.

Just apply as external candidate. But will have some preference if your application gets in
