Current employer is sponsoring my green card and I'm so close with an interview coming up. Has anyone quit right after you get it and switch companies? Does it affect naturalization down the road?
It depends on whether you’re Indian
Yep. You show new TC is 2x your current one, then it is a logical step
Please research around, I have heard people getting into trouble during their citizenship interviews. Some reported GC cancellations by the immigration department. As I said research around and get some legal advice from a lawyer before you go that path. Good luck!
General consensus from lawyers is wait for 6mth before switching
Where exactly did you hear about GC cancellations? I’d be curious to hear, because everywhere I always read “it’s fine, they might just ask you a question about why you changed so quickly and if it was a similar position”
