Does Chewy have the same PIP culture that Amazon does? Does Chewy have any type of URA targets? Anyone ever work at both companies? Could you compare and contrast the two? TC: $360k #e-commerce #retail
Chewy is a trend due so many people taking in pets due work from home. This will end and pet adoption will be on the rise in year
That is the saddest thing I heard today
Completely disagree … and you’re cold dawg
i’ve never seen or heard of any PIP thingy at chewy. chewy is pretty great. big, interesting challenges. lots of tools and ideas. free expressions. a bit chaotic, and lots of work around peak season. but overall good. i’ve been glad i joined.
Any URA targets? URA at Amazon means unretted attrition. Which we have a certain percentage of people that we need to get rid of in our org :-(
i think chewy has so much growth and enough natural turnover that URA makes no sense at all. I don’t think there’s any URA here. also btw I’ve worked at amazon before
what title and level if you don’t mind sharing?
What if you interviewed me? :-) You bring up a good point however. What levels are there at Chewy?
haha good point. well it’s similar to most anywhere else. levels 1,2,3, then staff, principal,… any higher than that and you’d have to go director or whatever
And do they 600 for level 3 ?
Honestly getting put on a PIP at Chewy feels like a joke
How is better.com currently? Hope things are getting back to normal
For realzzz tell Vishal hi 👋
Isn’t Amazon just 6% PIP and half of those come off of PIP with the other half seeing self exits and the rest let go?
I ordered from chewy before but the item was delayed delayed delayed and then never came. They made up for it by being really nice though.
I’ve made a big career out of both places. Chewy is much more toxic. They expect amazon size results with chewy size resources. HR is a puppet and out to get you. The best leaders leave within 2-3 years. Chewy was smart Pre-IPO but not worth joining at this point.
