Coding interview style at AMD for C++
Folks working at AMD software, This is probably team specific but what type of cpp questions should I expect in coding interviews for HPC or GPU kernel function roles? I checked Leetcode website for AMD but there are only a very few questions. Any direction would be highly appreciated! TC: 230k HWE #software #amd

Why Apple to AMD
Bit manipulation, classes (constructor/ destructor / polymorphism etc), 2D array rotation. That was my experience interviewing for kernel driver team as a new grad a few years ago. If you are interviewing for a higher level then I expect the questions to be a bit more challenging.

Don't come to amd from apple, amd sw is worse than apple hw in every way. Stay at apple. If tt was intel or marvell then fine, here rsu refreshers won't be nearby your apple refreshers, both apple and amd has no extra perks. Wlb will be either similar or worse than apple. And increments will be 🥜.
I understand - good point in terms of compensation structure. Let’s see Apple can still keep up with it. Also Apple hardware likes to pigeonhole people. If you don’t enjoy your expertise then you’re screwed
