Coinbase vs MongoDB vs AWS
In process for sr mgr and higher. AWS is $200-250k TC, no comp discussions yet for the other two. Would like feedback on where to invest prep time for, which you would rank highest and why? I suspect AWS will require the most prep and not necessarily for best WLB/TC. 13 YOE 140k TC

This can't be in tech. Amazon L7 not breaching 300? Even our underpaid L6SDMs make at least that. What role?
Deloitte senior manager at 140K with 13 years of experience? Are you in tech consulting? If you are that’s EXTREMELY low. Heck that’s low even by Deloitte standards for an M. The AWS offer is also very low. Target 250-300k and your best chances are probably AWS and Mongo. Haven’t heard of too many coinbase offers for ex consulting
Yeah I agree, Deloitte isn’t interested in raising base comp, (4% was the max in my unit this year after 0% last year.) They entice you to stay at the sweatshop with bonuses here and there and I’ve had enough.
So strange . Deloitte Cs are making 105 on average and SCs from bschools make ~150. You absolutely do need to leave. However don’t let your current TC make you accept a low offer from tech. You can definitely aim way higher than 250
