Safe company to be in during upcoming recession (if it happens). #tech
None of them are safe. Amazon:. Risk of getting pip is just has high as layoff. Expedia:. Travel will get hit hard during recession. Confluent:. The product is too hyped up, the company is bleeding a lot of money already so the recession will further damage their bottom line.
Confluent is far behind in achieving profitability. Even before recession kicked in, profitability was 3 yrs away. Losses are mounting now. Look at insider sales in last quarter. Nice product, nice work, but unsure about future. Too volatile stock as well
Can you share a webpage to see all insider sales?
Join confluent, good work. Amzn will always hire, even if ur fired at confluent, it's a door that's always open. Explore all companies before going to amzn
Interesting work at confluent, maybe. But the author's number 1 concern is stability of having a job thru the recession.
Amazon pip is like layoff. Now, they might bump up ura quota as well. Idk much about confluent. Imo if you are in a solid team and a solid performer ie no documented coaster instances just stay at Expedia. If you lose your job at Expedia amazon hire fire will always be hiring
Need TC of the options
