Convince me to choose Kirkland over MTV for google
I am in the gmatch phase. I have a team matched in Kirkland already. But MTV is my first preference. I currently don't have any team match in MTV. It's been 3 weeks since hc result. I have 2 options. Reject the Kirkland team and go all in on mtv team match. It can take forever to get a match. May not even get a match. Take the Kirkland team and be at peace. I'm torn between the choices. MV is much further from SF than Kirkland is from Seattle
Mountain View and all the “cities” in SV are sterile, generic, culture-less, and boring. Not to mention they’re far enough away from SF that you’ll never go there. But Kirkland is a super charming town, right by the water, and it’s very close to Seattle

How long do you have to decide for the Kirkland team?
No state income tax in WA, but Google pays the same there as in MTV. Real estate is cheaper, goods and gas are cheaper.
Tc bands are lower in Seattle area as per the recruiter

Is this for L3? I had the exact opposite experience. Got a lot more matches from the Bay when I wanted Seattle. Just hang on tight and you’ll get one in the Bay. Plenty of open headcount down there anyways.
