Yeah or nah? Feel like they are under the radar but clearly product is highly successful...
I had offer with them, but I am just not sure, where they can go... as what they do is not prorprietary. Free credit score is now provided by everyone.. And they aren't successful enough to survive, if a big player comes in with all their offerings like free tax filing. Not sure how long can they survive.. btw there is high chance they will go public this year
What are they worth?
Do you know our NPS score? Do you even know what NPS is? If you are at Yahoo in 2017, that itself speaks volumes about your understanding of good and bad products.
they started offering tax prep from this year
Their product is ridiculous. The credit scores they give out aren't used by anyone.
And yet it's the most popular finance app in the App Store by a long shot...?
Consumers don't know what they're getting is fake.
It almost seems like a scam. Anyone can get free credit reports direct from the bureaus.
Have you tried getting your credit score from the bureaus? 😁The problem with the credit industry is that it's not actually "free" but pretty bait-and-switch. Same with online tax prep. Oh, you want to file state too? That's an extra $50. Itemized deductions? $25.
I just got free reports from the bureaus a few weeks ago, just to make sure they're accurate - no identity theft, no mistakes from banks, etc. Scores aren't free, that's a very different thing. And, as noted, CK's "score" isn't the score that lenders look at, so it's worth what they charge for it.
It's not the scores or the reports alone, it's what they're able to do with it and at the scale they're at. Just like how anyone could potentially create an Uber clone, and scale is one of the winning ingredients to make the platform work. - employee
How is the work environment ?
Good work life balance, but some of the people are really bad at their jobs
Great work/life balance... More life than work actually. Most employees are out of the office most of the time than they are in
As a regular user, I like credit karma. It's a quick and easy way to keep an eye on credit related accounts in my name without pulling out the big guns.
what are their offers like? what does it translate to when they ipo?
what are their offer like?
Yeah
