What is your gender vs manager
Make some comment about not having plans for the weekend and looking for something to do, ask for suggestions of things to do and tell him/her you are going to do their suggestion and you hold them responsible for it being fun. And “I should make you come to personally hold your responsible”. Kind of a strong suggestion of “hey idiot ask me out”
Unless your manager is a girl and you’re a guy. Then grow some balls and just ask to hang out.
Smells HR trouble for the manager
Yeah. Just do what 'that1guy's said. Assuming it's a her and you are a guy(coz I was in similar situation) ask her for things to do during weekend. Take interest in getting to know her etc etc. If you are looking for long term this is an awesome opportunity to get to know her and her interests with out getting feet wet. If it's short term do incremental flirting till you get into her pants. (She will stop you with a polite remark if it's out of line). Either way leetcode, just in case.
