Crypto Scams

I’ve been reached out by a number of individuals asking me to join some crypto platform and do crypto arbitrage/trading/related activities. So I decided to act fool for once and just played along. The guy had UK number and he “trained” me on platform and made me basically click on ads via his account. He seemed to make a few hundred dollars as I did his stuff. In the process, he also put in 1500 USDT in his account to continue the work. Then he asked me to log into my account and I was given 50 USDT for doing the training. I performed similar activity and got about 10 USDT more. Then he showed me how to transfer the 60 usdt to my Coinbase account. At that point, I almost started believing it all to be real and I immediately converted 60 usdt to USD and transferred to my bank account. The money reflected in my bank account. Then he asked me the next step is to deposit 100 usdt almost daily to carry on my activities. This is where the scammy part started. So I immediately blocked the guy and kept the $60. Then a couple of very pretty ladies approached me separately on social networks. They seemed real people as I called them on US numbers and their social profiles seemed 8+ years old and actively run. After making some friendship, they came to the business part: doing crypto arbitrage on their recommended platforms. I declined politely, and sure enough, they disappeared right after. To be clear: I do have a small position in bitcoin, and I do occasionally trade crypto. But I do it via my brokerage account and not in some crappy app. My question is: are you guys experiencing the same? And if crypto world has come down to desperately scam people to induct them, then what exactly is the future of crypto? #crypto #bitcoin

If no one was using email for anything useful, and people were scammed to lure them into using email, then yes, email had no future.

An easy way to get around this is to use integrity protection for email and email requests. Every new email, where the email sender is not in your safe list, should be required to be verified by you first. If you accept the new sender, then they can send an email. If not, they remain blocked. It's that simple. End of scam emails ... and also end of spam/advertising emails.... the reason why this will never get implemented is because it will be too effective. It will totally block all advertising emails... which business don't want.

These scams are run via social networks. Poor old email has no fault in this one.

You haven’t seen the articles about all the labor trafficked people in Asia forced to do crypto training/love scams all day everyday?
