I have the final interview for Deloitte coming up and they seem pretty desperate to fill this role. It's for a government role doing mainly DevOps. In the job description, they don't mention "consultant". But I am worried about how "secure" this job is? I believe the total comp would be around 140k (including bonus). I make 100k TC at Northrop Grumman and it's basically impossible to get a raise here. Anyone work for Deloitte can speak to how stable their software positions are? The position is basically remote, they mention even after covid would probably only need to come into the office once a week, so it sounds cool. #deloitte
Could be nice but depends on whether it's the traditional consulting track or delivery center. Pm me for more info.
I would avoid if it is part of the delivery center.
May I know why is that?
avoid Delivery center. No growth.
Because of benefits . Core has more perks , bonus and benefits than delivery centre .
Definitely it is a good opportunity. Regarding job security, don’t trust any IT consulting firms as their business purely depends on client projects
If it's 140 I don't think it would be delivery center ..they don't pay that well..it must be GPS core
Take it. Leetcode hard and join a FAANG. Deloitte is no place for SWEs
Go do leetcode.. Deloitte is not product based.
$140k includes bonus? How much is bonus ? I joined Deloitte prior to covid and was communicated that the bonus would be around 12%. I got less than 1%. Just FYI
Techies have hard time at Deloitte. It's all about connections, client relationships and s**t. If you are an introverted techie, please avoid and look for a product company.
