I'm currently a P6 designer over in Australia working for Atlassian. Recently I'm thinking of moving overseas for work. Thinking if Singapore is a good choice for that. I'm trying to consider factors like: - TC in Singapore - Job opportunities - Career growth prospects - Lifestyle - Kid's education - Housing - Visa/PR Current base: 200k AUD #singapore #australia #career #design #ui/ux #tech #atlassian #google #meta #grab #bytedance
Australia is super chill. More of a European work culture. Also Australia is just awesome in general, lots of things to do, good food (except breakfast) and good public transport, etc. never been to Singapore but I would highly recommend going to Australia.
A lot more job opportunities and career growth prospects. However housing and education is very expensive. Lifestyle is great and you can enjoy a high post tax income. Visa is easy but PR is elusive. DM if interested to find out more.
You will earn same pretax as AU but probably double the after tax.
How much will I be able to expect for a IC6 role in Singapore Meta?
SWE? 500k+ sgd I think
