It was something that taught me the most about work and about myself both. I realized I’m not an assole and that corporate America has some really dumb motherfuckers who are also assoles at the same time. So yeah everything else is like water after wine tbh. But then being successful as an entrepreneur is a lot harder (when oppty cost is 100s of thousands of dollars and a comfortable lifestyle). I’ll be doing a startup again tho, very soon
No. Next
Yup. For a few years. Definitely some of the hardest years of my life both emotionally and financially but I learned a great deal.
Tried a startup for 2 years. Learned a lot about myself, what triggers me, what I'm good at and where I'm terrible. Best learning experience I've had. But it's like an addiction, I'm hands down to try again.
Yes I ran my own company for 3 years. Incredible. Awful. Exhilarating. Crushing. It’s like seeing the distillation of my nature in a vaccuum. Will do it again despite common sense and comfort... regret reduction.
Founding employee of a startup for about 2 years. It failed, but during that time I learned a lot about what I'm really passionate about. Learned a ton about business and my profession. I also learned what it's like to live in poverty while working 12 hrs a day with total and exhaustion.
Sweet, sounds totally worth it
I was a founding employee and worked for 3 years before it closed down. I think I did some of my best work there. It taught me a lot about myself. I loved it and never complained once about anything. Gave me immense confidence but when it closed it hit me very emotionally. I felt very sad. Since I was on h1b I had to scramble for jobs and those were some of the worst days of my life. But overall it was one of the best phases of life. Would do it again in a heartbeat. I have so much admiration for people who work at a startup, they invest themselves completely to it.

Thank you AAPL and NVDA
Miss the clear vision, control, and minimized nonsense that comes with having those two. Don't miss the lack of money.
