Am a Lux employee and have an opportunity to travel to US for some meetings with leadership. However, I want to travel only if this doesn’t count towards my 10 days of working from outside my home country because I plan to work from India for 10 days in Dec. Any thoughts on what the rule is ? Tc - 160k Euro Yoe - 10 #tech #amazon
I don't know about this. I worked at the Bahamas the 1 St month I joined. For over 10 days too.
You from the Bahamas? I am and joining Amazon soon. Would love to work back in the Bahamas for a bit
Amazon hires in the Bahamas?! Where do I sign up
I don't think it's per year. I know someone who did this multiple times a year from their home country in 2021. But ask your manager
That'd be a pretty shitty perk if business trips count toward it, but I guess Amazon is also known for shitty perks... At Google we get 20 days and business trips do not count.
Yes they do.
No they don't. You will be having a US visa during your visit and will be covered with that. You can still travel to India and work from there for 2 weeks.
No, official work travel doesn't count.
Does Amazon reimburse travel costs for this?
Yeah, it’s a work trip so they do reimburse
