Does Amazon adjust RSU awards to account for stock appreciation?
Somebody told me you might get less stocks later if the stocks appreciated significantly after you join.

Yep, you get penalized for stock appreciation although my amzn friends are also convinced that Amazon will give them additional stock if stock price depreciates below their target comp

If Amazon had to buy those shares, this would slow growth and seriously harm their business model. They’d have to fund those shares with layoffs.

They don't, they just dilute existing share value, basically such comp comes out of share holders equity instead of cash flow. Good thing for them PE is 99999 lol
