If you leave for a competitor will AT&T let you work the two week notice period or do they end employment immediately? Tc $200k
They will immediately walk you out. You can decline to answer where you are going, but more than likely they will walk you out regardless.
When I worked there, I had folks give notice and there was no walk out. I'm not sure if that is what you were hoping to hear or the opposite. A lot will depend on your role. AT&T clearly cannot backfill you in 2 weeks they just don't move that fast, but if you have responsibility they would likely hope you can transition at least some knowledge or documentation while you are still around.
That’s what I was thinking. Wasn’t really hoping for one way or another just trying to plan. Thanks!

Thank you AAPL and NVDA
I do not think they would end employment immediately unless such a clause is present in your offer letter. I would ask the benefits admin . In some cases might also depend on the level. Are you l2/3/4/5 ?
