At 300k you already can afford a decent lifestyle, support a family and maybe bought a comfortable house. Bigger TC often comes with bigger responsibility and stress, but does it improve your lifestyle and happiness? Half of the money goes to tax anyway.
just makes me want more
The premise is wrong because TC != wealth. You may be making $300k but still live modest life due to high expenses (mortgage, large family, illnesses, debt, etc). So yes, it makes a difference and every dollar counts.
It's never enough
300k and single? Ok. But definitely not enough if you have kids and your partner doesnt work
damn... what about the rest 98% american families?
Clearly they are on the verge of starvation
Ask my yacht 🛥
I can’t hear your yacht over the noise from my helicopter.
Sorry it's just so hard to see your helicopter from the elevation of my private jet
Yes. It makes a difference.
What makes you so certain middle managers have a sadist fetish for single engineers?
MP3 I laughed so hard 😂
Yea, around 1m and you can afford a nice house and some toys.
No, it doesn’t. Send me the extra you earn after 300k.
Most people actually hate their jobs, so any additional TC makes them feel better
If everyone else is like me, feeling better only lasts until the next round of BS
