I remember early in my career devs usually had private offices, or worst case you’d share an office with one other. Now it seems like these “open” floor plans are ubiquitous. Does anyone out there still have a private office at work? Which company?
Microsoft still has it. If you work at Google for more than 10 years you will have your own room as well

I don’t work in one but these offices are for directors, vp, senior managers, and distinguished engineers.

Microsoft Office folks have their own 120 square foot offices.

Apple managers and above have office at Sunnyvale campus. Not sure about AP.
I’m in IL surroundings, not IL, and we have private or double offices.
At AP Director and above get an office, four M2 share an office the same size as a director. M1 in my org don’t even get a desk because we don’t have enough.
