DoorDash Interview
I interviewed for a role at DoorDash, however they were in a rush to hire, and they have another opening for the same role but the hire date is in August. They will still be interviewing other candidates for the second role. The recruiter said my feedback was extremely positive even though I didn’t get the first role for the earlier start date. It’s not confirmed whether I got the position for the second role. Should I wait or start interviewing again? The interview went really well in my opinion so I’m disappointed there is no direct answer for me. I really want the position but I don’t want to be disappointed if I wait and don’t get chosen. The team and managers were great, and it would be a good learning role. Anyone have any thoughts?

No reason to wait unless you're exhausted of interviews and are okay sticking at your current company longer if DD doesn't work out. Otherwise it doesn't hurt to interview more, it just gives you more options - maybe better than DD or a backup if DD doesn't work out.
