Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
Was wondering which would have a better career path, more exciting work, and long term opportunity DD base 180, Uber 150. non Eng role
Doordash founders are so dumb. Don’t ever go there.
Don’t think I’ve ever heard a positive thing said about working at doordash
Is this GM role?
Can’t get into details here but DoorDash is doing incredibly well
Uber will buy doordash in a few months
Might be other way around at this rate
I’ll list three facts and you can decide. 1. Engineers and other x-functions have left Uber to join Doordash in the last year. Haven’t heard of the other way around. Even our VP of Eng is from Uber. 2. UberEats is third in US market share. Doordash is first and we’re still growing market share as we speak. 3. Doordash has more cash than most people think. Not only that, Covid-19 is horrible, but the food delivery apps benefited from a financial point of view. Uber was late shifting all their resources to Eats and are quite behind. Do you want to bet on the future of UberPool and Ride in the next 12 months?
Which one has more cash to survive the virus will be your answer
