Just curious, is anyone aware of Dropbox using employee tracking software to see % of day worked, % of time in different apps, etc. Trying to figure out how chill Dropbox really is. TC 400k
Do companies actually do that ?
Tell us you want use Dropbox as your second job without telling us you want to use Dropbox as your second job. OP is looking for over-employment.
Not that I know of, also, you are generally only required to work conventional hours from 9 - 1 PST the rest is up to you how you get your work done.
I don’t think so. I’m willing to bet the data exists somewhere, but it’s not actively monitored. It could probably be aggregated and used as a termination reason if you’re consistently underperforming.
I have heard IT can see what you’ve searched for on slack
DBX is not nearly that organized to have such things.
