Refreshers are also based on how much equity you already have. It is much more reasonable to look at Total comp being in line with what the next level looks like.
Makes sense. Very little data on what comp looks like as an IC5
Also, promos are not easy at Dropbox for IC3+
I've resigned to the fact that I'll be stuck at ic3 for quite a few years unless I change employers
I heard…….I almost made IC4. But not quite. What exactly am I expected to do to make that jump? Is it a technical thing? A cultural thing? Show up to Drew’s house for dinner every Friday lol? I actually wanna stick around @ DBX for a while (love the product and culture). So some career growth would be nice.
As far as I know it looks like a stock grant equal to the top perf level for the new level plus a salary bump.
