Engineering Manager Onsites Ahead!
Ahoy ye scurvy dogs! EM onsites on the horizon! Facebook, Amazon, Oculus scheduled. Will be trying to schedule Google Apple LinkedIn and Salesforce as well. Can anyone share recent experience at any of these? What to expect? My recruiter for Fb said to expect 1 coding round, 2 system design, 4 management / behavioral / situational. I have one month to prepare - should I push this date out? Any other preparation tips tricks? I’m focusing on LC Medium for the coding round, grokking the system design for the design rounds. How did you manage to line up these many engineering manager interviews as EM external hires are rare? Was it thru referrals or just applying?

I would suggest reading Klepman's book or industry white papers over Grokking for system design prep.
I didn’t know Facebook and oculus had different loops ; did you try for WhatsApp as well ?
