Spotify has Associate, Engineer - 1, Engineer - 2, and then Senior Engineer. Yeah, the base is quite good, but the RSUs, not so much
They also have staff and principal. 3 YOE and Sr is honestly really good. Salary is on point for Spotify. You will not negotiate more. No sign up bonus. No yearly bonus. Also no extra stock. Unless you get a promo. An avarage yearly salary increase is about 3%. If that works for you. Spotify is great

Aside from coding questions, Spotify also asks technical non-coding questions. So if all OP did was practice problems on Leetcode, I don’t see how that would’ve helped them reach senior

Interestingly I have a similar offer from Spotify on the table. The recruiter told me RSU refreshes were a thing but it sounds like they are not as much of a safe bet as they are at Apple. Still, a bit of WLB and remote seems worth it.

Nope, my team is alright but I can’t stand the product I’m working on and the tech is uninteresting. Unfortunately switching teams can be weird and political.
