Expedia SDE 1 -> SDE 2 Timeline
Does anyone what timeline to expect for a SDE 1 (college hire) -> SDE 2 promotion? I've heard that Expedia is somewhat slow as a company, so I'm not sure how that translates into promotion timeline. Expected TC: 128k

They are making changes in system and it will be 1 year across the board for consistency

I saw that there's the rotational program for the first year. So, does that mean that you go through the program and you are promoted as you are placed in your final team?

Yes unless both teams recommend a no then there might be 6 months extension
Within 2 year. One of my friend went from ASE to SDE1 to SDE2 in less than 2years
What is ASE? Associate Software Engineer? How is it different from SDE 1?
Earlier it was entry level. They removed this title and now SDE1 is entry level.
