Times are rough. https://www.bloomberg.com/features/2020-exxonmobil-coronavirus-oil-demand/
Ouch, but that balance sheet strong tho.
Exxon is a great company but everyone is having a tough time right now. Massive layoffs across oil/gas industry, especially on the service side.
Unlike the major IOCs the service industry never properly recovered from the 2014 crisis. This is going to be a bloodbath.
They’ve done a great job diversifying and not being totally reliant on oil but looks like they are also feeling the pain exacerbated by covid and oil downturn
Interested to see how the next administration (or the same) handles the biodiesel tax credits as Exxon has invested heavily in that technology and Trump basically shut it down last year
Very rough. It's affecting all of us.
