The Facebook campus is gigantic. Is every building occupied by a different org? Ie one for Facebook eng, marketing, G&A, instagram etc? Seems like building 20 is where you would want to be? Is that where Mark is too?
20’s kind of depressing because it feels like a giant IKEA warehouse
Yes to everything, but if you want to be in 20. Everyone wanted to be there when it first opened, but it was a wind tunnel. Pretty quiet for one giant room.
Also 20 has the worst food. We moved from 20 to the 23-28 side... Was expecting to hate it but I love that side of campus now. Less crowded, Best food by far, excluding some of the specialties on classic.
27's naan all day. And 24 just as good as harvest.
Thank you. Zuck and Sheryl are in B 20?
They fly in helicopters around campus yelling down at people not working. (Seriously though no one should answer this).
I worked in 20 for a few years, then moved out. It's alright, but it has lots of issues in the design. Please don't ask where specific people are. There's security concerns about that.
That’s a good point, thank you. Truly impressed how big the campus is and how everyone works together. 🚲🛴 Very nice space!
If you have a friend here, come in the summer when 21 is open. That building will be amazing. Same size as 20, but fixing most of the bugs.
What are those bugs if you do not mind
That kind of project was never attempted before, so there's no reference. For example, lots and lots of glass in the south side of the building. It's beautiful, but it kills people with glare. They improvised with shades and stuff afterwards, but it's still super annoying. The way the aisles and desks are organized are interesting but not functional. People hate it. 21 will change that completely. It's small things that disturb your day to day.
I disagree about 20. I work in 20 but I'd much rather move to the east/classic campus. It has a very different vibe, feels more relaxed. It also has a ton of cafes.
20 has a lot of empty pockets it is just finding a room that is hard.
Agree with above - worked in 20 for a while. It’s so big, always running around. Was in zone 5, sooo far from cafe, shipping, etc. Such a hassle. Moved to the 23-28 side, thought I’d hate it, but I love! All my shuttles stop at 24 in the morning, building is smaller and more intimate, easier to find rooms and get to cafe, better food. Will prob move to 21 when it opens, but happy where we are for now.

People who like Modi, are you okay with your country’s leader using words like “infiltrators” for a community?
They have different teams all over. It isn't really separated by org or discipline. 20 is a happening place but the other building clusters are full of impactful teams too.
