Curious how they are adjusting for Midwest. I read it was minus 15% on salary and no adjustment for stock. Is this their first offer? And congrats OP. You are rolling for Midwest!
You can perhaps push a little more for RSU otherwise it’s good offer
I would recommend negotiating your base to 180 and your equity to 500k. Worst case scenario they would say no.
Can negotiate easily
I have a much lower offer from Hopper but am thinking of telling them that Hopper came up to compete. Is this the only think I can use to negotiate?
OP - I am starting my interview process with Hopper soon and would like to know more about company culture as found out , it’s current valuations( if shared with you) and IPO future plans. Can I DM you ?
Isn't that about $80k under a typical E5 offer? I know you're LCOL, but dang that's brutal. I'm sure they have plenty of room to move if you haven't negotiated that at all. Then again with no competing offer I don't think it'll move that much.
Yeah the Hopper offer is much lower, so I'm not sure I have much to point to for negotiating something higher.
That's pretty good money. But yeah I'd see if you could negotiate some if that's their opening offer. They don't really come out the gates with their top offer
I had similar offer but had competing offer and got it up to 375. There's room if you have competing
Can you please share interview exp and questions?
For lcol it's amazing
