What does it really mean to be a Growth Marketing Analyst at Facebook? Is it a grunt work job where the PMs lead the work, or are you telling the PMs what to invest in?
Bump anyone?

Based on what I garnered interviewing for them: It can mean a huge amount of things, but at the broadest level you're working to grow (increase revenue) on one of their products which drive revenue for Meta. Could be to increase business's use of the DSP overall (SMB and Mid-Market group), or one of their products (ie. increase usage of Instagram ads, or increase revenue driven by Marketplace), or on some special initiative (I was given an example on a AAPI month initiative from an interviewer). I interviewed for the Manager role, and it sounds like in that role you lead the marketing strategy itself, so devising the tests/campaigns and then coordinating with Creative, PM, DS and campaign execution people to help implement/measure it. The GM Analyst role is the junior role, GM Manager is the general role, they also have a Data-first role that I don't remember what it's called. Again, this is just what I know from going through the interview loop as I want to provide something on the dead-af thread.
