Received an offer from Facebook for an IC5 role. While I know Facebook has annual stock refreshers, my offer letter doesn’t mention it anywhere. Approximately what % of base (or % of initial RSU grant) can I expect as annual refresher?
Annual refresher is 1/4 of target equity for new hires.
This is in addition to the initial grant? So if my initial grant is 100k, I would receive 100k/4 (vesting over 4 years) = 25K and another 25K equity which would best over 4 years?
Refresher is granted in a formulaic manner depending on a job family, performance, location, and time in the year. Not necessarily tied to your initial grant. Yes, it’s in addition to the initial grant and vested over 4 years.
What’s the job role?
Just focus on making it through your first year.
What percentage of people don’t make it through their first year? Is it through PIP like Amazon?
Do non-technical hires also get refreshers? Anyone have any examples of how much one might get as an IC5 or IC4 with a meets expectation rating?
