I'm getting started into stock market, I'm 18 and have over 50k saved up. I'm curious on what your thoughts are on starting with a final advisor, is it smart or a waste of time? I was planning on investing the businesses I use all the time. I'm going to be patient and wait for the coronavirus gets worse. Stock plan: FB, ADOBE, S&P, NVDA, MSFT, DOW, SBUX, DISNEY, GOOGLE and some mutual funds. Marketing Consultant TC:110K (worked free for 4 years for this job) #investments #stock #assets
Congrats, love seeing this! Swap mutual funds with voo and prepare to become a multimillionaire.
Gotcha, thanks for the advice. I heard that ETFs don't make sense because you are investing in winners and losers and it only makes sense to invest in the winners.
You cannot always pick winners :)
Financial advisors don't always have your best interest in mind. Learn how to invest and not to panic.
Hmm will do, I just want make I am being as smart with my money as I can. I have already put more than 200 hours of research into my investing companies since this will be a 10 to 30 plan for me.
According to this post, your employer is guilty of using child labor.
Lol I had a lot to learn with internships before I could get paid. Now I help multi million dollar companies with their marketing!
Listen to me and read this carefully. YOU DO NOT NEED A FINANCIAL ADVISOR. CERTAINLY NOT AT 50K. Google this: Bogleheads Getting Started wiki. THAT'S ALL YOU NEED
