What’s the best advice you received from a financial planner?
are financial planners needed?
Have a plan for your ESPP and RSUs.
Well rsu right away, sell espp a year later

Don't use debt.... and a perfect credit score is 0 and not 850.
That's bad advice. If you can use credit responsibly, you should. Credit score of 830, cash back on all my purchases, never have paid non mortgage interest in my life.
With that high of a debt score, you've been playing the banks game for a long time. If you want to build wealth for the banks, continue. If you want to build wealth for yourself, let the power of compound interest work for you instead of against you.

Buy index ETFs with minimum load. Don't ever try to time the market. It'll always grow in the long run... just take the money you don't need for a year or two and put it in the total market and leave it.
"Year or two", seriously?
Minimum. If you're going to need to spend it this year, keep it in the bank.
