“Fuck Frugality!”
Ever get so fed up with Amazon’s frugality you just wanna quit your job? I haven’t even started yet. But when I do Im gonna try to find a new job asap. I’m already looking at other companies to apply to. When I go I’m gonna tell my recruiter “Fuck Frugality!!!” And then quit. I’m a past intern btw except I hate Amazon so much. They treat their employees like shit.
Why didn't you join a different company?
I failed all my other interviews. Including one at your company. So now this is the only option I have left after I graduate.
Makes sense. Brush up on interview skills, wait a year to get the sign on/5% stock/able to reinterview, and try again.
Amazon is a good bootcamp if you’re in the right tech. 2 years tops then GTFO.
I hear you. I once bought so much food I ran out of fridge space. Then the other day, I couldn’t remember where I parked my Tesla Model S P100D at the shopping mall. However, my electric toothbrush running out of battery in the middle of brushing my teeth tops the list. I hate it!

Why are you whining so much? You're at amazon cause you're shit. You probably couldn't even pass technical interviews and got in due to how low the hiring bar is for new grads. You're lucky amazons hiring bar is so low, otherwise you would be working at a no name company making less than 100k.
Fuck you motherfucker. I got a return offer from my internship. That shows I am capable enough to be working at companies of this calibre. I went through 2 interview rounds for my internship. Leetcode mediums. Go suck a dick
2 interview rounds? You mean 2 online assessments where all the answers and questions are online if you know where to look? I know so many people who just cheated their way in. All my friends who interned at amazon got a return offer and they said they barely did anything. If you were actually good at leetcode, you would be at google/fb/etc. I went through Amazon intern process and their hiring bar is way lower than other companies. That's why I didn't go.
Ignore the haters. Best thing to do is to work hard at Amazon while figuring out your next gig. Amazon is a solid brand. Don’t burn any bridges on the way out. Interview outcomes are arbitrary. If everyone at Facebook were to reinterview, 50% would fail the loop.

OP said he interviewed with the other big 4s and most likely other companies. If he was actually good at leetcode, he should have received at least 1 offer better than amazon unless he was extremely unlucky. I know a handful at people at my school who joined better paying companies after their amazon internship.

I just hate how we’re paid so low, have a horrible stock vesting schedule, no free food, a shit 401k plan. The list goes on
