I recently got approved by HC for Customer Engineer role at GCP and got an initial offer Base: 185K base + 30% target bonus RSU: 165K (over 4 years) Signing: 0 Level: L5 (most likely, not confirmed) YOE: 15+yrs, Masters Current: L5/SDE2 Location: Bay Area Recruiter says level cannot be shared but it is a senior IC role (guessed it could be L5) and mentioned I aced most or all the rounds. Knowing I cannot ask for level change now, how far I can push TC for this level? I do not have any competing offers but there is a high chance of getting promoted to next level. Even contemplating whether the move is worth if there is no significant bump in TC.

Any suggestions on how far I can push on RSUs and sign-on bonus assuming L5 or L6 roles at Google?
For an engg. role from my initial 220k offer I was able to negotiate up to 300k for High L4 role without any competing offer. I believe I did good in interviews. They revised the offer mostly on GSUs. My only suggestion is negotiation is slow, donât that get on ur nerves and compromise.
