https://apps.realtor.com/mUAZ/b5f92c05 Looks like they paid 1.05m and torn it down to build a new 3000 sqft sfh. Assuming $333/sqft construction, that’s another $1m. Is the builder taking a loss on this one?
The outside is quite ugly.
It could just be a strategy to attract more offers. Quite common strategy.
The price was lowered after a month, so if there were buyers, they would have bought
Seeing a price drop for first time in last month. SF passed on it's curse to Seattle... Everyone is bidding crazy, 30-50% above asking price
Whyyy would you try to do this in EPA lol what were they thinking?
Probably seemed like a sure bet at the time
Market is cooling down….
$333/sqft seems high but maybe it’s normal in California?
$1k+/sqft is avg in SF
I love it. Please take a loss! I like to watch the show
What are the 3 top criteria of buying a house? Location, Location, and Location! The most exciting thing about this location is walking to IKEA and the AWS building. Other than that, this location is only good for dealing drugs. Anyway I doubt that it took 1M to build this. Looks like they used very cheap material and the ceiling is pretty low ruining the modern feel.
Where are you guys finding construction at < $350/sq ft? Trying to get bids for an ADU like project and can only find high 300s at best, many mid 400s. Would gladly accept referrals :)
How are schools there?
Terrible until high school
