Very confused right now. Getting offer from Gartner and Finastra for Software Engineer position. Both with about same Fixed salary and CTC(ctc 13.5). With around 2 years of experience. Both side about same work. Anyone working in these firms or worked before, can help me on decision?
Finastra. A lot of politics in Gartner. Stay away from it.
Finastra is great! Not sure about Gartner.
Can you give me referral

Thank you AAPL and NVDA
My best buddy worked at Gartner for three years as an engineer, it was a shit show and he couldn’t get out of there fast enough. By the end he was one of the highest performers, and even the work that he was describing to me that got him there was work there any normal engineer would do in a basic day-to-day job. They have a ton of people just coasting and major political culture. If you don’t have the right connections, you’ll get screwed every time. A large number of the team also consisted of Indians that very much keep to themselves and look out to promote and award people of the same ethnicity, so you end up with cliques and promotions/raises become difficult despite working hard.
