Tech companies to avoid as a white guy?
Full day on site with 5-6 x 1 hr interviews. Some code on hacker rank. Interviewers are all looking for whatever their domain of expertise is. Some ask low level questions and others ask more behavioral questions like “tell me a time you failed and how you handled it.” All interviewers vote and give their notes and the hiring manager makes a decision. Just my experience. Good luck!
This is pretty spot on. I can say that we generally don't ask LC questions, unless by happenstance, and are usually looking for potential rather than always having the right answer. We'd prefer to have someone that can take a problem and work through it, rather than just doing rote repeats of a practice exam.
So that means they do ask some theoretical questions like java:jvm based ? Since I m a backend engineer so that means I might be tested on service construction/ I have just 4 hrs on the onsite, but they haven’t told me the exact schedule or how many rounds are there
