Does anyone know what the trader comp ranges are at the top global banks at the VP level and above? I know it varies, but there are definite buckets individuals fall under based on performance.

Exceptionally wide. At MS, base was fixed by level (250k for US based VP traders, 300 ED, 400 MD). Bonus of folks I knew at VP level alone ranged from 30k (lol) to >>1mm. Neither was typical, but it’s illustrative of the possible range.
“Standard” comp is 50-150% of base.

My direct manager made 3-5mm a year. Yes, top traders can make more than the CEO in a good year.
