I recently had an on-site with 5 rounds and according to my recruiter I did very good in two, ok in two and bad in one. She seems to think that "things are going in the right direction" and that I have a chance if I can match with a team, however I'm not convinced. Is she being overly optimistic or do I actually have a chance? Edit: I passed HC, so it is possible. I guess my very good interviews were strong hires. TC: 85,000 YOE: 2
If the very good two correspond to “Strong hire”. Your chances are really good.
Yeah, this is true. 2 nos is a bad sign, but 1 with some strong yeses will often be approved provided everything else (leveling, etc) is in line.
Unlikely
Unlikely. You need one +, some ok and 0 -.
G usually is ok with 1-. Id say odd are good.
Every time I give no hire or leaning no it steamrolls any other ratings... So idk, could be down to luck
Afaik, 3-4 of the 5 interviews is used to determine signal. I gave a candidate a No Hire rating. Yet they were hired. They had 2 strong hires and a LH / H. Which is funny. They were the first candidate I interviewed to get an offer.
I had ok sort of review form one of the interviewers and HC rejected me . It was for SWE though
